320d. Juddering acceleration, lack of power, erratic.
2008 N47. Getting worse by the mile. DSC flashing. As though short of fuel.
Changed EGR. Stripped turbo and is OK. No air leaks. Fitted secondhand MAF with no change. It will accelerate but is unresponsive and juddery. Switching off DTC does not improve it, even though flashing when I stick my foot down. No smoke. Have read a lot but no definative answers yet? Thanks. |

Have you replaced the fuel filter? Have you checked the fuel rail pressure to ensure the HPFP is working? Have you checked the flow from the fuel tank's pump is adequate? |

Check the DPF too.
I had similar issues. It turned out that a temp sensor was malfunctioning, preventing the DPF to regenerate. The DPF got clogged up, causing the performance problems. After fixing the sensor and cleaning the DPF, the car was back to normal. |
