If i had to take a guess, id say about 300-500 in suspension parts and that's assuming you didn't bust the shock absorber (looks like the impact may have caused the knuckle to slide). Not sure what he is showing on the top mount though.

Looks like you need an endlink, front lower track arm, and end link assembly (it broke off, so you can't just get an end).

Did you crack or bend the wheel?

What it might cost is for your insurance company to determine.

All the things he shows apparently need replacing it was quite a imapact aslong as its no more than 600 im ok with that and im hoping the wheel can just be refurbished dont think the wheel is cracked or bent

What tires does your car have? Summer, all season, or winter?

I second this.... Only if the problem cost is higher than your deductible.

BMW suggests replacing the entire steering rack (in addition to any damaged suspension components) for a hit to the front wheels.

Could get real expensive... real quick.

My excess is 500 going to cost more than that all together, plus if I claim
I will lose my no claims bonus and my monthly payments go up
Not worth it

And if it comes to $2k or more? My guess is that it will. Covering you for accidents beyond your control, and ice is beyond your control, is why we have insurance.

The mechanic has inspected it and says the steering rack is fine and total cost of repair is £950 ill take that. Just waiting on more parts from bmw, hope it drives like it used too🤞🏼

*good summer tires. These are explicitly advised to not be used in near and below freezing temperatures, or on snow/ice.

bro.... you broke your inner tie rod in half.... you can't tell me the rack is okay after that.

I'm hoping for the best for you but when u can drive it I'm sure more problems will reveal themselves
