Those are the tips I got. I like them a lot. They do get dirty but are easily cleaned. I clean the outside and the interior lip and they look good as new. I have wondered or thought about replacing with the carbon fiber but have not done anything yet.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you normally use to clean them?

Congrats JNMNL52! What tips did you end up going with? Can you share some pics? I am getting the kit installed next week, and mine too is Glacier Silver. Been trying to decide between Chrome and Stainless Steel tips. Although it seems like the decision may be done for me. Many retailers do not carry stainless tips anymore. May have gotten obsolete.

CajunBMW yours looks like Glacier Silver too, no? Trying to discern how the chrome tips look on GS. (debating between chrome and stainless steel).

They are not too shiny or light in color, are they?

I went with the carbon tips and glad I did. MPPSK is awesome. Now considering an M Performance diffuser.

ASD off with MPPSK, no?

I thought the verdict received was MPPSK coded ASD off once installed (post as such more than a few times by different users here on the first 5 pages)

Yes, no? Anybody spoke to their technician at their dealership to get 1000% confirmation on this?

I can confirm that ASD was not coded out by my dealer during MPPSK install. I asked to have it done and it was stated by my SA that it was not part of the install process. After MPPSK installation I purchased an OBDLink MX+, Bimmercode and Bimmerlink and ASD was still registering as active. I coded it out and could definitely notice the difference. Simple process. Ask you dealer if coding ASD off is included in the install.

MPPSK official installation instructions freely available online. ASD is NOT disabled. Period.

JNMNL52 thank you. Congrats. They look super sleek!
(I need to stick with the cheaper options though...)

I don't think they are to shiny, at least not for me. Yes my car is GM silver. I think they complement nicely. I have had no issues with the look. I think the silver look of the tips and shine is similar to the silver edging on my rims. I also don't think they are too light. For me, the only thing I wonder about is since my car is the shadow version with black trim on everything, would the black on the carbon fiber tips have complemented that look. The original tips on the stock muffler were black. I know I can change, but at this point I think they look nice and I have no issues. Hope that helps.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you normally use to clean them?
I just use the Optimum car wash and wax solution most of the time. I do take an extra cloth and get around that part of the car (diffusor and tips and around the interior portion). I probably do that more seriously once a month or so. I get crazy busy with work and kids and don't always have time for more detailed cleaning, so sometimes I finish off with one of the spray on SiO2 wax's, rinse and dry. I also use that to polish up the tips. Honestly I think just normal car wash solution and a sponge works great most of the time. The grime and exhaust residue comes right off.

Get MPPSK while you can! It is becoming difficult to find in Europe... it is practically discontinued in Germany.

Had a thought (to justify to myself the $3385 i'm spending this weekend...)

Since MPPSK can not be reversed/removed from the ECU (*admittedly), it's no different than checking off the ZCP factory option while building your F8x.. Or a new trim, like buying the G8x Competition variant over G8x base, X3MC vs X3M, E92 335is (was my fave bmw) vs E92 335i M Pckg..etc..

Meaning, i would hope, when the time came to sell the car, it would make a difference... As now you have a different "trim" 340i...
