Operation 8.8 to 10.2 completed
Fitted a F15 (X5) 10.2" screen into my 4er, it initially felt imposing compared to the original 8.8" screen but it fits so well within the cabin
I created a 'How To' to help anyone else looking to change out their screen Where I have highlighted in RED in the pictures shows where I have trimmed or cut away to fit the screen fit. Enjoy! |

does the screen come with the new idrive 6.0 system? Or is it just a straight screen replacement? I see that you label you have a 2013 4 series. But your idrive is the newer version.
If it doesnt come with the new idrive how did you get it to the new version yourself? |

Ah i see do you mind telling me how much your retrofit cost? Im looking to upgrade my system and BMW is flat out saying no they cant upgrade the Idrive system to newer versions. But I can continue to update my code revision.
BTW that screen looks nice. Something I think ill look into after I look into this retrofit. |
