[MHD Tuning]

Update on our upcoming MHD B58 release.

Since many of you guys are asking about the release of MHD B58, we will now give you a small sneak peek on how things are moving forward.

We already teamed up with pureturbos.eu to start developing our Stage 1 & Stage 2 tunes - this means the flashing and coding process is stable, only a few small things need to be optimized and we have to add our popular flash options as the flashing and logging processes are done.

The first results are very promising, the B58 engine performs extremely well, better than all other non M engines we did before. And since we are working with the guys at PureTurbos, we will also start to work on a B58 Pure Stage 2 Turbo OTS map afterwards.

We are working as hard as we can and expect the open beta release very soon. We always do lots of testing before we release anything, so you guys have a 100% safe tune without compromises in reliability, power delivery and overall performance.

The MPPK is only a software tune from factory, no important parts are changed. Stage 1 / stage 2 will have the same power levels with MPPK or without.

I know we aren't supposed to ask questions but any chance of an iOS version of your app before the B58 tune comes out or should I just go buy myself an android device?

I'm aware of the MPPK on the old 335i but MPPSK blurp from BMW

With the higher flowing exhaust compared to the standard sports exhaust on the x40i would be interesting to see the figures.

It's marketing. The MPPSK exhaust still retains the OEM catalytic converter so it doesn't net any real world gains.

Our shop car has the MPPK with the (very loud) sport exhaust BUT since the stock exhaust is already good for 550HP+ you will not see a difference running either the sport exhaust or the stock exhaust.

The stock cat is still the same and the biggest restriction.

iOS is a big development and it will still take a while, it can also only be used with our wireless kit that will be released soon too.

Perfect thank you I wasn't aware of the stock exhaust being that good, I'm not technical person at all.

There is 1 Android in the house hold luckily. I found some cheap android tablets on eBay. Check them out I’ll probably end up purchasing one some time later.
