Auto transmission 'Quack'

Bear with me - I haven't owned either a BMW or an AT car before but I just HAVE to check something!

When engaging (changing) any gear (Drive > Park > Reverse) I presume everyone else can also 'hear' the change? Can't quite describe the noise it makes (a kinda 'quack'?!) but it seems to come from the front left of the car (I have a Right hand drive)?

I have nothing to compare my car with and no previous experience in auto's so thought someone would be able to quickly confirm you also get this and we can close the thread. I wasn't expecting to hear any noise when changing gear!

Easy to capture, but more a challenge to upload. I'll see!

It happened from new - noticed it as soon as I engaged 'D' from within the dealers showroom on driving out so im sure all is fine. Just stupid not to check with other owners.
