2015 Navigation Map Updates

2015 Navigation Map Updates are beginning to be released.

A handful of 2015 Navigation Map Updates have been released including Road Map North America NEXT 2015-1 for car's with Option 609 Professional Navigation System and the latest NBT Head Unit:

For Map update, you will need to obtain the correct Map version for your Head Unit Type / Geographic Region, and a Map Update FSC Code for Installation.

If you have 609 Professional Navigation System, and are unsure of which Head Unit type / Map version (PROFESSIONAL, PREMIUM, or NEXT) you need, see here:

If you have 606 Business Navigation System, you will need either MOVE, MOTION, or ROUTE Map version.

No. You have CIC Head Unit, and already have the latest released version, which is 2014-2 PREMIUM.

You have to wait until 2015-1 PREMIUM is released.

Wow. 2015 maps already. Is this a normal update schedule for BMW? I just got my 2014 maps updated.

Just one thing to add... When you update the maps, after it's finished, it will take about 10 to 15 minutes to really get the map stable. Meaning, at first, it will be a regular background with no map, but after the satellite signal is established, and the map tables are built, then it will be good afterwards... Also, if you had the 2014-2 installed prior to the 2015-1, the second USB stick will jump from 36% to 54% - so apparently it checks to see if files are the same or different before pushing the upload... Just FYI...
