Thick black oil flung on side of car and in wheel well
Just noticed this today. I got under the car and checked and don’t see the cv boots leaking what am I missing? It’s very thick oil. Currently at 55k miles. I know my thrust arm bushing is shot on the other side but this is a different leak.

That’s what I was wondering as well. I guess I will just wash the car once it warms up and see if it comes back. What I wiped up smelled like gear oil and was very thick.
