Launch control in sport+

Anyone knows how to activate LC = launch control ?

I activated sport+, which is working and then I check also "EGS->3000->Applikation_LC " which was already "aktiv".

I tried LC, but not working. Did I forget something ? I tried to trigger LC same as in this tutorial:

Just a simple search here and.....

This is how you trigger it :

1) Drive at least 6 miles
2) Sport+ or DSC Off
3) Tilt Shifter to left
4) Floor the brake and the floor Accelerator (Yes! FLOOR IT. If you just press it, it will not work)
5) Let go of the brake and you will see the checkered flag

When you press it, you might feel a resistance, press through it.

1. Wow 6 miles "pre-ride" is really necessary, or computer is checking car oil temperature and enabling or disabling that option? Is this limitation anywhere written inside BMW instruction ?

2. When I switch from N to D, I need to press brake. Then I switch to S mode (shifter to left).
After that should I release the brake or just holding it and floor it hard?
At same time, I also floor Accelerator or after flooring brake hard ?

Floor the brake first and after a slight delay (to make sure brakes are compressed) press the accelerator to the floor. No need to stomp it, just press through.

Page 75 of owners manual:

"Requirements
Launch Control is available when the engine is warmed up, that is, after uninterrupted driving of at least 6 miles/10 km"

Read the manual people!

You cannot disable the prerequisites not would you want to, you need to travel 6 miles first as this is what the engine and transmission needs to warm up if you don't let your engine warm-up before launch controlling you risk damaging your transmission, this is very important. Also, don't launch control consecutively without at least a 10-minute break in between each one, it needs time to cool.

hope this helps.
