Does any reputable company out there make one? Haven't seen it as a common modification. 2015 EWG vehicle

Hi been on there website and they only have them for the n54 not the n55 for a 2015 car. For what I've seen it is not possible to get a bov for the current n55 something to do with it being on the turbo or something.

If you want to hear the whoosh sound you probably bought the wrong car; here's an installation video:

In all serious as far as I'm aware we have a diverter valve attached to our turbo that recirculates the air back to the air intake. If you wanted to get get more of the whooshing sound just install a new air intake like injen's or BMS' that doesn't have a intake box.

Thanks was just wondering what was out there. Looking at an intake, sound at the moment is decent with the mppk air box. So I'm happy with what I have. A

There's no BOV sound with these cars but the sound of the turbo spooling (even stock) is pretty epic IMO, always makes me smile

They make one for the n55 m235i, same setup as our cars. I verified with them via email that it will work on our car. They make a BOV

http://www.forgemotorsport.com/Blow_...uct--1358.html

And a recirc (DV)

http://www.forgemotorsport.com/Recir...uct--1359.html

The BOV makes the loud whooshing, while the recirc is relatively quiet, however still louder than the oem crappy DV.

You can also replace the Stock DV too. But there isn't a traditional BOV. The stock DV is on the turbo.

The stock DV is prone to leaking boost, especially as the vehicle ages. Many guys have picked up a few ponies and fixed unrealized boost leaking.

The GFB DV+ is what I'm referring to.

UPDATE:
Turbosmart recently (Fall 2019) released an N55 Blow Off Valve.
Kies Motorsports just released a YouTube video showing Bryan installing the N55 Turbosmart BOV replacement for the stock Diverter Valve. He installed the louder Dual Port model on his car. He previously installed the quieter Plumb Back model on my car. Link to video below.

Was just about to comment this ahaha, I guarantee we will see more BOV options like this soon from other manufacturers

I'm really enjoying my Turbosmart BOV. Unlike the stock Diverter Valve, the Turbosmart bleeds off just the excess boost pressure so the intake is still pressurized for instant power as soon as I step back on the gas. Even more fun to drive!!!

Do you have a video with how it sounds? If not I'll probably just get the louder one unless someone tells me it's obnoxious.

Video wouldn't tell you anything other than the Turbosmart Plumb Back model is quiet which is what I was looking for.
