Who all is waiting for this to come out? Will be the nicest pnp hybrid. Turbofold should be a nice upgrade from the ps2. They are getting real close to being finished.

Been waiting to see some results and news on the ewg turbo. If this is 600whp capable (while still somewhat efficient on the turbo), this will be my move.

Tony and his VTT had the greatest N55 turbo IDEA in the business back in 2016, which is the hybrid turbo but fitted with a genuine Garratt DBB CHRA. In theory, it could flow like PS2 and spool like stock. However, turned out, he did neither of them.

Now, 3 years later, once again. They're progressing with cast housing/manifold + DBB CHRA upgrade that they call GC (game changer). Hope it's not just a fancier idea than the 2016 one.

I need to correct OP. It's not a cast hybrid, but new everything that fits into stock position.

Actually, new everything is not remotely a fancy idea by today's standard. If anything, it's a proper turbo upgrade, like almost every other platform has one. Just that N55 platform is finally considered worthy of it when the engine is already phased out by the factory.

It's the cheap everyone in the game that is to blame.
