The only thing you need to code is "Tailgate rocker switch position 1 operation mode" to "Open and close". Ignore all the rest
Now the trunk even closes with a single button-press. No need of long press anymore
That got it, thanks very much, that's been bugging me

The Rolls Royce tones are less annoying. I like them.

Mini goes the opposite way. The tones are shrill and obnoxious, like a pipsqueak version of the stock BMW tones... which seems appropriate for a Mini.

Me and my big mouth.

First go at BMW coding, with Bimmercode - just a couple of things to start with; the hateful stop start, LED in door handles, radio off when door opened.
Did it on my tablet that has never been paired with the car.

All good.

Went to see my brother today and mentioned the stop start.
15 minutes later, a list of coding to be done on his F31.
He was so chuffed, he called his mate, so I had to do his as well.
Should have left the tablet at home :-)

I'll get it back in spades at some stage.
Brother - fair enough.
Mate is an ace welder, with all the kit at home - retired now. From Rolls Royce.

I've been coding with bimmercode on my f30 for a while now, even made some tutorials if you guys need a hand: Thic_F30 on youtube..

I'm still waiting for the active sound design to become avail for my car but I'm not quite sure its possible for the 2013 base models..

What needs to become available regarding ASD? Disabling / setting up is available. I disabled mine a couple of weeks ago.

New update to bimmetcode with updated coding on Android. Received it yesterday. Haven't tried it yet. I believe sport + has been added. Hopefully sports transmission also.

Deleted phone from the car and car from the phone just to be sure. Made sure wifey's phone was well away so no chance of it being seen by the car...

Went back in and sorted:
all seat belt warnings off
close mirrors, 1 second delay
door handle LED on reverse
stop / start off
stop / start remember last setting to on
stop / start in eco poo not active
stop window with door open to not active
decoupled ambient lighting from dash lighting
mirror tilt on reverse to aggressive
acoustical lock checkbox in menus to on
warning sounds to Rolls Royce
ring tone to Rolls Royce
tires to pressure and temperature
start animation to M
rear DRL outer to active

My mirror tilt used to say 'aggressive' and something else, i've forgotten what now as it changed one day to be in percentages, which i find much much better, i have it dropped to 20% so it drops so that you can see the back wheel and whatever is behind it, a lot more useful

Yeh, I noticed mirror tilt was in percentage when I sorted my mates car over Xmas. Thought it was just his car having different options but obviously a code change instead.
I'm waiting for one button push enhanced Bluetooth 😉

Hey guys,
I am super new to the forum, bought a 2018 340i MPPSK a couple weeks ago. I hate how the blind spot signal only comes on at the speed of 50kmph. I also got the bimmercode app to code it. For some reason in the ICM module I don't see an expert mode.
What should I do?

What is the difference with the sports + mode over the standard sports transmission. I do know you have to set the sports + in two different places but know idea what it does !

I thought Sport+ was the same as Sport but with the traction control off by default.

Not sure, but if that is the case then mine already has this facility. Didn't realise you can get a gearbox that doesn't have either the sport or sport + functions

When I had my F31, it was an MSport and it had Sport+ as standard. My brother had the same car (engine), but was SE trim, it only had Sport mode.

Depends. Newer models have a different, more aggressive throttle mapping on Sport+ (in comparison to Sport) as well.

Ok I didn't realise that. Honestly it's not a mode I've ever felt the need to use.

No one does, until one day you do

But with all seriousness I have barely ever used Sport+. I feel a bit unsafe on tight roads and/or slippery conditions
Sport works for me just fine for the time being but of course there is good potential for development with Sport+
