F32 Spacers
Looking for advice on spacers.
2015 435i F32 running 225/35R20 all around. It has adaptive M suspension and is not x-drive. How do these factor into my considerations? From my research 12F/15R seems to be the go-to but I assume that's for 19 wheels? I've seen setups from 10mm to 20mm, but I don't want any rubbing. I'm having a hard time finding a supplier in Canada, so I'm looking at Turner Motorsports. Front: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...-1-pair-black/ Rear: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...-1-pair-black/ Neither of them come with extended bolts so I'm looking at these: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...pacers/?pdk=AQ But I'm also confused why it only comes with 4 bolts. Thanks. |

Those are wheels locks, one for each wheel.
Mach Schnell https://europeanautosource.com/macht...ml?vehicle=232 Or you can go with the Turnermotorsport brand, they also have kits with extended bolts included Also we don't know what wheels you have and their offsets to give advice on spacers. For reference 442m wheels with 12mm / 20mm gives you a nice flush fit stock offsets on 442m Front wheels 8J x 19 ET:36 Rear wheels 8.5J x 19 ET:47 Last edited by jv004; 03-06-2021 at 09:24 PM.. |

Does my RWD / adaptive M suspension factor in at all or no? Also, your wheels are 19 mine are 20 would that make a difference? Last edited by Adarau; 03-06-2021 at 10:20 PM.. |

This was on my previous set up which was HR super sports springs. I have different wheels and coilovers currently
No, you'll be fine on stock suspension, it'll look better with a drop though. |

12/15mm.
I found it was $20-30 more to get studs and nuts and not worry about bolts anymore. Got em through ECS |

Also looking for advice on spacers.
F32 435i currently running stock suspension on 442M wheels. 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. Will at some point lower but don’t want any rubbing. Looking for a square set up. Was going to go 12F and 15R but jv004 looking flush with the 20mm rear. I know you got the super sport springs. Did you have any problems with rubbing? |

Spacers aren't "bad" for the car. But they aren't optimal for handling. It's always better to choose a wheel width and wheel offset so that no spacers are needed. The exact tire model width and tread width play a roll too.
IMO The best method to follow is to choose the tire size and model. Then choose the optimal wheel width to go with the measured tread width (found on TireRack). Ideally the tread width should be within 0.5" less than the wheel width. Then finally the wheel offset to position it correctly in/out of the wheel well. |
