Hi. I just ordered a BMW roof rack and would like to know if a Thule cargo box can be used with it, or do I need a BMW box. Thanks.

I've had roof racks on many of my cars for twenty plus years and I've rarely had a compatibility issue between Yakima, Thule and Rhino Rack and if I did I could solve it at the hardware store.

I have an OEM BMW rack on my 2016 F31 and use a Thule (Force XL) roof box with no issues. The integrated roof box clamps are adjustable to accommodate different distances between the bars and to shift the roof box forward / backward to center it.

Very similar setup for me too. OEM BMW rack with Thule 615 Pulse. Adjustable, hand tightened clamps are a breeze to tighten. hatch opens fully with no interference
