Custom E30 Tune & Data-logging

Custom E30 tune was reworked and now complete. Let me know what tunes you are running and if anyone has upgraded their hpfp.

Video Summary: “If I were to do it all over again, I would probably just run the OTS E30 map.”

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense to get a custom E30 tune with stock HPFP. But hey if you enjoyed the process for $600, it's your money

Also, operating as close to the HPFP limit as you are (well actually, you already exceeded it) is problematic for a number of reasons, especially without an ethanol sensor. Variability in pump gas or E85 content between gas stations or fillups, or just imprecise mixing (by increments of less than a gallon) can easily push you into hull HPFP crash territory.

Yeah, I agree with the variance in gas. I do test my E85 every fill up, but for 91 who knows. At this point all I can do is trust Cary Jordan when he says we are nearing the limits of the hpfp and can't push it any further. If I run into any issues I'll just run the E30 OTS map.

Get a HPFP. You can even max out the fuel pump on regular gas

Yep, it's on the mod list. Are you running an upgraded pump?

Cary’s a moron.

Instead of him being straight with you and saying that the E30 OTS maps will max out the HPFP and that a custom E30 tune is worthless on the stock HPFP (which you could have figured out with some research), he’s happy wasting your time and taking your $600.

Why are you accepting a tune where HPFP dips below target? Does it do that on OTS also? I dont have access to E so I am running WMI (FYI).

Being new to the N55 platform and not as educated as I was with the N54 motor, I would have just ran the OTS map. But I will say that my custom tune does feel stronger and more dialed vs the OTS map. Is it worth $600 bucks? No, but I didn't mind spending the money and go through the custom tuning process.

Yes, it dips below target but still within the safe range. I have not had any misfires, stuttering, or any issues whatsoever, so I feel okay about it for until I upgrade.
