heated shift knob?

kind of random but it's a thought...I have the 340 6 sp and I love the heated steering wheel but I thought to myself, they should have the shift knob heated as well. that'd be nice. Cuz that thing gets cold too. maybe I'm being snobby.

not sure if it's even feasible....I mean I'm sure it is but since manuals are pretty much heading out the door anyways, I'm sure it's something that would never be considered

lol. It's funny that you mentioned this. I thought I was the only one wishing my car had heated shift knob. But they would never do it because they advised you not to rest your hand on the shift knob.

I want a heated turn signal stalk. Once the steering wheel gets warm, the turn signal stalk feels really cold.....

I drive with one hand on the wheel and one on the shifter too, and I had exactly the same thought recently. It won't happen though, in a few years stick shift will be all but gone sadly.

my prior car had an aluminum shift knob that would get burning hot in the summer that i had to wrap a napkin around it to shift....

Perhaps Mercedes might have such a thing. I believe the new S Class has heated armrests now.

Haha...same here. That shiny metal shift knob looked great...but damn it would be hot in the summer. A heated shift knob? It's not a ridiculous idea. I wouldn't have minded that this winter.

This might be the most first world problem I've ever seen.

I want a cooled steering wheel and shift knob for the summers in the midwest. Now that's a real problem....
