You have coded or try to code ALL 3 CAFD?
The ACSM needs 3 CAFDs.
You have to assign all 3 CAFDs and then code it.

You only need new PSdZData if Error is "Missing CAFD". PM sent.

I'm trying to retrofit heated steering wheel, according to this post:
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1231186

I think I did hardwiring ok, with coding I have problems. I am total beginner at coding.

First I added option 248 to Salapa elements and tried to VO code FEM_BODY, KOMBI and HU_ENTRYNAV.
It did not work, I got errors: file for"cafd.."not found.
When I read coding data, I get this error also on other modules, not just three I tried to VO code.
So I am assuming that this year, when car was at the dealer, they changed firmware. Before that I have successfully coded auto start-stop, but dealer reseted it.

So I downloaded latest psdzdata data I found 4.21.32, tried to read coding data FEM_BODY, same issue, same error CAFD_00000794_018_070_004 Fehler: File for "cafd_00000794_018_070_004" not found![C012]
Then I tried to "Detect CAF for SWE" for FEM_BODY, I get error: failed to get caf for swe...kiss error
According to Esys I-step of my car is F020-17-11-530

What should I do? Try with differrent version of psdzdata? With older version I had It did not work either.
And am I doing everything correcly or should I try different way? Is it necessary to VO code all three modules I mentioned or is it enough to code just FEM_BODY?
I have basic KOMBI so warning for "heated steering wheeel turned on" probably won't work anyway. For HU I don't know if it has anything to do with heated steering wheel option.
I would really appreciate more detailed answer, as I am new at coding.

My car is 2014 F31, I use Esys 3.27.1, Enet cable. I connect via VIN, F020 (not direct).

Thank you!
I am trying to do the same upgrade, add 248, and getting the same missing cafd errors. I have updated the psd files 3 times, most recently last week. still missing. What were you able to finally do to correct this issue. Thanks

What is exact error? What is name(s) of CAFD files missing?

Latest v.4.31.12_PSdZData contains cafd_00000794.caf.017_068_021.

same error, screen shot attached.
What are the steps I need to take to get the computer to find the file? I do have the cafd file but the program is telling me I do not. Perhaps I am skipping some steps.

What exactly are you doing? If you are in the Coding module, and Read (ECU), it should be Black, not Blue.

I am attempting to add option 248, heated steering wheel. All the physical changes have been made. Still stuck at this coding problem, for over 2 years.

These are the steps I take.
Connect to car, Read FA, Save file, expand to SALAPA, add 248, apply change, Calculate FP, Save.
Switch to Expert VCM, load file to vehicle order section, right click FA, Calculate FP again.
Master tab-Write FA&FP
Return to Expert mode-coding, Read ECU under SVT. Find the ECU and right click press code

Forget 248 for moment.

Can you read FA (original), activate FA,, Read (ECU), Right Click ECU and select Code without error?

Where do you have the file?
Your psdzdata are from 2017 which doesn't contain the CAFD 00000794_017_068_021.

Ok, above you said you had this file on PC. Where is it? If it's in psdzdata SWE CAFD folder, you would not have this error.
