FA must not be null is VIN issue. You must select Read VIN from FA button, then select Read FA, then execute Flash.

Do it again, and keep messing with it until it works. It is VIN issue. I've seen it a hundred times, and everyone always claims that they do it right and it not work, but eventually they get it to work.

Maybe it's relevant to mention that I updated FW on FEM_GW the other day before I tried to update HU_ENTRYNAV, it seams to be succeded.
Could there be a failure here ?
The car runs fine, but the HU does not Work.

I have also tried to do the following:
Select Read VIN from FA button, then select Read VIN (VIN okay), select Read VIN from FA button again, and then select HU_..... -> blflash, swdeploy, cddeploy and ibadeploy. then "check software avaliability, then start (no error messages).
After about 35 minutes I stopped the flash, but is 35 min not enough ?

Not relevant. Issue above is VIN issue.

As for flashing, Head Unit can take up to an hour. You should not be stopping Flash. It should run its course to the end, either succeeding or failing.

2 Connect to car Project=F020 ... (not direct), use connection via Gateway (Should I use VIN?)
3 Comfort mode, TAL Calculating
4 Read and save FA
5 Activate FA
6 Read and save SVT-Actual (SVT_ist)
7 Edit SVT_ist as you described
8 Create SVT Target (Complete Flash, I-Step shipment F020-15-07-504)
9 Do KIS/SVT Target Calc and save as SVT_soll
10 Do TAL Calc and save as SVT_tal
11 Expert Mode - TAL-Processing
12 Load SVT_tal
13 Load SVT_soll
14 Read FA (FA_aus_VCM
15 Check read VIN out of FA, and click Read VIN
16 uncheck all, and select HU_ENTRYNAV (blFlash, swDeploy, cdDeploy and ibaDeploy)

Hmm, I looked at repetition could be to many resending errors I thought, and that could be a bad connection. I then tried to change the RJ-45 cable to at high grade Cat.6 cable, and hurraaaa, it finished successfully in 21 minutes.

Sorry, but I have no idea what this "data repetition counter exceeded" error is. Also, I never flashed FEM_GW before, but I would guess Gateway URL is need, and DHCP Server to assign IP Address to Gateway Module.
