so, I was looking forward to beingg able to to properly use spotify with android in my new car.

can play tracks and shuffle back and forth as always, but the actual spotify app doesn't seem to work.

The green circular spotify logo comes up on the media screen on I-drive, but when I click it, I just get a blank screen...

Something must be happening, as it's clearly recognising spotify should be present. (the logo is there) but no dice..

Any ideas anyone?

open the app via the connected drive app on your phone and it will work through that. It's not the greatest though. I usually end up on bluetooth
