I was speaking with my US sales associate and he eMailed a contact in Germany that indicated the info was coming out end of the month, which is essentially June 1. I'm planning on ordering one early June for a Mid Sept Euro delivery.

I wondered if the rear spoiler on the GT LCI would remain, it seems to be a prime candidate for a cost cutting exercise, maybe they could use some clever underfloor aerodynamics to achieve the same downforce at speed?

I always thought it would be neat to have a rear wiper and washer jets hidden below the spoiler.

I just ordered a 340GT for Euro delivery. All the tech stuff was easy to decide as I could do that by reading. Colors, with my wife along (it's actually her car) took most the time. I do not want black, white, grey or silver. I think the car is too big to be red, which means there are few choices left. The dealer had a single Jatoba car on site, a used car. It was so close to black except under direct sunlight that was eliminated.

Then my wife wanted Kalahari beige, the dealer had zero examples (said not one ever wanted it). To me 1/3 of all Japanese cars are this color. After going in circles for an hour we went to imperial blue, basically same color as the car it's replacing (orient blue), with saddle interior. 3 months and counting. I'm expecting the firm delivery date this week to start making the travel plans.

I bought my '16 GT in May - anyone have insight as to whether I'll be able to retrofit Apple Car Play that's available on the LCI? Also, is it a stand alone feature, or, do you need connected services too?

My understanding is apple car play is a stand alone feature. It still was not available to order for me on the 2017 model. Because it only integrates some of the native apple apps, decided it wasn't worth the hassle trying to get it. For example WAZE will not integrate. But I did order the wireless charging option (for a future phone that has it).
