Chargepipe Preformed Seal

I'm preparing to finally change out the original chargepipe on my 335i at 106,000 this week in conjunction with performed the OFHG repair.

I've noticed that all/most of the aftermarket chargepipe kits either include or as an option, add the upper chargepipe o-ring and clip, but not the lower preformed seal (13718596850) between the chargepipe and inter-cooler.

Is that seal prone to leak at this mileage and should replace that as well?

Thanks

Garage List
I replaced ALL the seals when I installed my new FMIC & CP on my car with a mere 5400 miles on her - simply good insurance (esp. if you manage to tear/rip one during uninstall) They are not expensive...

On a car with 106K miles = definitely

Thanks

At that mileage it could be brittle from heat cycles and easily damaged when swapping it over, you can buy a new one and never worry about it.

I also suggest to replace all seals. Very inexpensive insurance policy.
