F33 Convertible water sloshing sound
So sometimes after heavy rain I hear water sloshing around the rear quarter panel of the car.
I have checked the convertible roof drain and it seems like there is drainage (I sprayed some wd40 and it came out the bottom) I have read online that the window seals let water in. Any idea how I can get the water out and prevent it from happening again? |

This may be unrelated but...I had squeaks in my wife’s car that drove me mad...and so I jumped in the back with her driving around our wretched roads and determined in the end the addition of a foam weatherstripping (with peel and stick on one side) applied to the factory gasket on the hard top side solved the problem...so would it be possible water is getting into the “gaps” that I sealed with foam that were causing the squeak (s) on her car are allowing water to getting into yours. The car is brilliant now.

Possible the drain holes on the bottom of the door are plugged. I had a break in on a Nissan years ago and months later had water sloshing sound. Poked the drain holes a little and some of the shattered glass came out and I kid you not probably a gallon of water. My car had 3-4 drain holes from what I remember.
