I sent my old one back in for a core refund. I had ordered a new one from them.

Has anyone heard of any updates to this tune? or is it good as it already is? Also, do we have to email them to get a new file whenever a new mod is installed?

In all honesty I don't think they care to much about tuning the n20 motor. They don't even have a shop car that has a n20 in for research and development .(its gonna blow anyways what they might say.) When I last visited the shop look like the primarily focus was on n54,n55,b58 and M cars.... tbh you better off selling the tune if possible and deal with a tuner on the bm3 platform... there at least youll be able to run a custom tune. Ive seen people running full e85 ,e40 e50 and e30 on the bm3 platform on 18-19 psi killing the game. Though active auto werks offers 4 custom maps blah blah blah ..... its bullshit. GOOD LUCK with it .

but hey who knows they might be working on something secretly for the n20 the stage 3 might be full e85 or something .

Well if you're gonna go custom tune the choice is obvious! Especially if you are not satisfied and it is not giving you the results you want on this 4 cyl platform.

No updates at the moment as we are at the maxium psi we really want to run on the n20 stock block.

Our tune was created with a n20 328 (customers car) on our dyno that we were lucky enough to hold on to for a week to complete all the different stages of tunes with different bolt ons that are available.

Crossing my fingers you guys keep wokring on this and over more maps. Maybe newb question... Can you assign maps to certain modes like only sport and sport plus? Also... Running 93 on a 91 map... How Will that affect gains?

I wish you would have told us how you really felt when you called earlier this week and came by today for an updated burble tune. Your car had hardware issues from the start; we told you to bring it back once you had fixed the leaking chargepipe and we didn't hear back from you until this week when you called because you wanted to change the burble file. You also tried to run e85 in it with our 93 tune when we told you it was not compatible. At least correct the hardware issues and give our tuning a chance before you post publicly that our tune is "slow" when your car won't pass a smoke test. PSI is just a number, more boost does not always mean more power, especially on these newer BMWs.

The reality is that we're one of the few tuners that actually dyno test and develop our software. We are not purchasing maps from Europe and then selling them as our own, and we are not using remote customer cars as guinea pigs. I think you'd be surprised as to how many "tuners" actually own their own development cars, or even develop tunes on cars in person and not remotely.
