LSD offers many benefits, not including the top speed you're mentioning as the only reason to do it.

Increased traction, greater control through turns and bends, applying greater control and power spread across the wheels, and preventing wheel spin.

Vastly changes the driving experience of the car and one of the more "feel good" mods.

well hope was that the only difference was the slight gear ratio but MASSIVE price comparison. The auto LSD price bottomed out while the 6MT remains around $2300. Apparently there are some model LSDs that can he uses interchangeably, so the hope was here too.

We 6MT owners were hoping that was the case here, but sadly it is not after several tried it.

The TuningTechFS XDI-35 hpfp pump is installed and running and can already feel the difference! I will have the full DIY posted today.

updated with KC Design front and rear shock tower struts, and rear sway bar. Also the Powerflex rear subframe differential bushings.

*LAUGH* Budget man.. budget.. I actually picked up a KILLER local deal on a set of 19 442m's! I havent put them on yet as I am going to run the rest of the rubber off my 18s, swap in the 19s that have existing OK tires and run them bare. Eventually I will have 19s dedicated summer, 18s dedicated winters.

Great day!! Got both the XDI cold start chirp and high rpm torque limiter issue worked out with Active, and flashed to a more aggressive tune.

Last dyno with a struggling oem HPFP was 381rwp and 425torque.

Today.. yeah.. we are making real progress, all on pump gas!!

429rwp and 425torque!!

Excited for next steps.. in a week should finish the suspension components with Powerflex front bushings. The, I will also do a full Bilstein B16 coilover kit!! (then off for balancing and alignment again) 8)
