Hi everyone, question on the Avin 10.25 android 10 for my 2013 F30, if I use wireless CarPlay all the time to the Avin unit the unit plays through the cars aux obviously (for my car anyway), will there be a big difference in sound quality if I have the wireless CarPlay from Avin vs the wired? thx!

I don't know if you have the newer units with built-in wireless Carplay. I got mine with the external wireless dongle, but I used wired for some time.

My opinion is, everything else aside like quality speakers/amp etc, the thing that actually made the most difference was raising the music quality setting in my streaming services (Spotify). If you have the data plan for it, go as high as you can.

I really can't tell the difference with wired vs wireless Carplay in my car at least (Other than the half-second to 1 second lag time that wireless seems to add. Surprisingly this doesn't bother me as much as having to constantly take my phone out of my pocket )

Thank you, I do have the new unit from Avin with the wireless built in and it works great but now sure if im losing a lot of sound quality streaming Sirius/XM vs just using the cars built in XM, I switch between them and notice a slight difference but that may just be in the tuning

I would use the radios XM and then go to CarPlay to use Waze but you can't use both, Waze on CarPlay needs to go through the AUX on my car
