So Timeshift in my 840 with iDrive 7 seems to be 'broken.' And it's he same in a new 5 series. There seems to be no way to turn it off.

If you are in your presets and you ever press [Jump Back], every time you go to that station again, it will always jump back. Even pressing [Jump Forward] only works the one time. When you change stations, and go back to the same station, it will always jump back to the same point. It's annoying to always start at the same place. The options button in the center console doesn't have an option to fix this either.

The only buttons in the presets are listed. And none of these has an option to turn it off.

[Sound Settings]
[Remove Preset}

There is a setting in Favorites to turn on or off automatic time shift, but this occurs even when it's off.

How to you stop a station from always jumping back in Timeshift? it's been like this through several software upgrades since November.
