ACS Springs & Adaptive S Suspension

The benefits of the ACS springs to the X-drive F30/31s are well highlighted on the ACS homepage.

What advantages (and disadvantages, I like comfort with my sporty ride), do they bring the S drive models with adaptive? I'm assuming some of you will have personal experience thereof. Thanks for your thoughts.

what models does the aptive suspension come on?
We are looking at 2015/2016 model 330d - is adaptive suspension standard on some models or only available as a paid for extra?

Adaptive is an extra £515. And no option is better value, especially if you go for 19" wheels.

I have ACS springs on my 4 series with adaptive dampers. I would say it firms up the ride by around 10% and is no way uncomfortable. It's lowered the car by around 16mm

I'm running a hybrid suspension set-up on my SD and in the main it's a very good improvement from stock (was M Sport, adaptive dampers, RFTs).

MPSS help enormously with ride quality, grip and traction.
ACS springs provide a firmer ride but not crashy (due to non-RFTs).
Bird's ARBs keep the car very flat through fast corners.
Adaptive dampers are adequate but could be better - they are firmer in Sport and Sport+ modes but rebound damping is still poor. I like the ability to switch between Comfort and Sport.

Depending on what you want from the car I'd recommend this set-up or going straight for top-end coilovers.
