Coilovers offer springs matched with shocks by design plus rebound and compression controls in certain models.
+1 for coilovers. What's your budget by the way? |

If you have adaptive suspension - go springs, that's all you need.
If not - you may want to consider coils. But plenty of people are satisfied with springs only. Depends on your expectations. I personally was never a fan of “low-riders” from the 80s. P.s. I appreciate you are new here, but be advised that there is a dedicated section of the forum for Suspension-related threads...: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...460&order=desc

100% coilovers...FULLY adjustable coilovers tho.
I've had BC Racing coilovers on both my bimmers and would never do springs again. I cannot speak for BMW but with all my other cars, springs always end up wearing out the socks. The factory shock resting point is not meant to be compressed that much all the time at rest. |
