Secondary opinion

After many hours of fighting my vrsf chargepipe, I still feel like it's not on right so I'm looking for a secondary opinion.

Does this look like its on enough? The C clamp does snap into place and I can not pull it off by hand and the car feels strong although I do feel like there is more induction noise since installing, so I'm weary.

If the clip isn't locking its not on far enough.

Yeah you’re fine. The gap is for thermal expansion, If it doesn’t pop off after WOT then you’re fine.

Same as my experience, first time it hadn’t latched and it popped loose in a pull later in the week, if you hear/feel the clip snap in and engage you’re good, seems like most aftermarket cp have this gap for thermal tolerance (mine is ER but also researched this considerably when I was wondering the same thing)
