Weird I just did it again with no issue, but I can admit that VIN decoder sites have always been full of ads and weirdness in general. I don't have to use them very often thankfully.

P337A M Sports Package

And possibly...

S715A M Aerodynamics Package

I only mention due to M sport bumpers being available as an after market retrofit if that matters.
FYI- even the packages that are found in the mdecoder website can have different meanings depending on which model car.

For example, my 2015 335i has the P337A package which means that I have the stock brakes for the F3x 335i which are grey Front Brembo 4-piston calipers with 340mm x 30mm rotors. And Rear Bosch single piston calipers with 330mm x 20mm rotors. The "A" at the end of the package designation means that the car was built for North America.

If my F3x 335i had blue M Sport Brakes, the package would be S2NHA. ("A" for North America) And my brakes would be F370/R345.

But my understanding is that if my car was an F3x 328i and it had the P337A package, that would mean that instead of the standard 328i brakes (which are single piston Front calipers over 312mm x 24mm rotors and Rear single piston over 300mm x 20mm rotors), the car would have upgraded front brakes including single piston calipers over 330mm x 24mm rotors.

The front 312mm and front 330mm calipers actually take the exact same brake pad size and part number.

If the F3x 328i had blue M Sport Brakes the package would also be listed as S2NHA, BUT the brakes would be F340/R345.

Hope this helps!

Same happened to me. Thought I was just doing it wrong.

For my 2018 F32 430i rwd I found:

(0 ZMP) M Sport Package option

• 18" M Star-Spoke (style 193M) alloy wheels
• Sport automatic Transmission
• Performance control
• Sport suspension delete (this is replaced by M Sport suspension the P337A package)
• High gloss roof rails
• Sport seats
• Sport steering wheel with paddles
• Aerodynamic kit
• Shadow line exterior trim
• Anthracite headliner

P337A M Sport Package

For rear-wheel drive models:

• Grey, 4-piston calipers, 340x20 mm front; 2-piston, 330X20 mm rear rotors
• A comprehensive package of M Sport front and rear bumpers,
• M steering wheel, sport seats,
• M sport suspension and other trim pieces.

The dealer's records showed:
  • S0337 M Sports package S0337 (brakes)
  • S481A Sports seat
  • S704A M Sports suspension (springs, dampers and front and rear anti-roll bars)
  • S710A M leather steering wheel (M badge)
  • S2PEA BMW LA wheel M Star Spoke 400
  • S715A M Aerodynamics package
  • S775A Headlining anthracite
  • S3DZA Delete extra external lettering

My car also has the S2VLA Variable Sport steering and S840A High speed synchronization (higher speed limiter). I don't know if these are part of the M Sports package.

The VSS is not part of the M Sport package as I have it with my shadow sport model 340; possibly associated with a sport or sport line model. I don't know about that. The high speed sync goes with the tires, as I recall. I have that since my car with high speed ultra performance summer tires.

Thanks for the information. BMW sows confusion as they use the word "sport" in several; different ways.
