Yeh for sure. "Deep Woods Off" is pretty bad on vinyl. A buddy of mine used to use it when he did seismic work, and it literally melted the pickup seat backs. One of the reasons he stopped using it now.

My wife plays a lot of tennis with a ton of sunscreen. She turned the seats and armrest from gray to yellow in our previous X5 (BMW grudgingly covered under warranty). Now she uses a seat cover and towel to protect them.
Both sweat and sunscreen are corrosive to leather and plastic over time. |

I tried leather cleaner with no improvement. Rubbing alcohol also had no effect. Then I realized that could be sunscreen, so I tried liquid dishwasher, which cut through the sunscreen and restored the leather to like-new(did test out at small concealed spot first). |
