What all is the difference between N55 and B58

It is indeed addictive. Picked up my 340 two days ago and did a 14hr drive home. The YouTube videos don't catch it accurately. The pops and burbbles are there in sport but you don't really hear it in comfort. Interesting to note are the valves on the exhaust and also there's no resonators.

Another difference between the engines is that the B58 does not have a thermostat. Don't know why that has me intrigued.

bit of random question ..... in the B58 (and B48), does the physical dipstick return, or is it still electronic dipstick ?
