Remote oops

Are bmw key remote and battery remote covered under 4 yr warranty ? I was trying to open now key doesn't lock in as tight as before

Im not sure if it is or not but if they determine that it is broken from you prying it open then i suspect they wont cover it. the only thing you can do it try i suppose.

I don't think warranty covers customer induced damage. It's for manufacturer's defects....

Even if it is, breaking it trying to pry it open isn't.

Did you open it bij sliding in the key in the hole that unlocks the back or did you pry it open?
