Oil Reset Not Possible
I am new on the forum. Been an Audi (2003 RS6) guy for the last 9 years. Just got a 2014 335i M-Sport. Love it!
On startup the Oil service interval image has yellow around it and says 600 miles to service. The dealer I bought the car from (Honda Dealer) changed the oil, but didn't do the reset. They are useless on this. After following the directions on both the iDrive and the cluster reset methods, I am still currently getting this error. I found some info on another thread, but wanted to see if there was any additional input or solutions. I purchased BimmerCode and on OBDLink MX+ for other coding options. Cool features, but nothing to rest oil service on. Thanks in advance |

Bimmercode is for coding, not service diagnosis and repair. For that you need the appropriate ISTA/Reingold software or an OBD tool like the Foxwell NT530. I've never tried the cluster reset for oil changes, the iDrive works every time.

If its code/error related... you'll need BimmerLink to view/reset/diagnose issue.

Oil is time-based too. Make sure your time and date is set.
