use the original connectors bmw or other model to connect the red wire and the green wire

to dismount the plug it is necessary to spread the small lamella at the same time and to leave the connector

First thanks David for taking the time to help others and also everyone whos contributed.
Can I ask when it comes to the Retro wiring cable , Ive seen 2 types and wondering if the bottom type would be easier to install and tap into the oem wiring loom according to this link
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1180839

Just can't seem to find the orange & blue cables shown at the bottom in the uk for a F31
Top looks like you need to wire it back to the REM ,
Bottom looks like you just run it from the inners back to the outter wiring loom and connect up.

thanks for the link David.

Does anyone know what thickness/guage wire is needed. Going off previous F31 installs it looks like I may need to extend the over lengths.

Hoping to just code these in with just bimmercode, unsure if others have done the same if its possible to just disable the bulb warm up checks.

Thanks

Installed LCI and Coded with Bimmercode - no wire tap needed

Hey guys - I have a 2014 US 328d with old CIC. Just finished the LCI blackline upgrade and if you follow BMW's instructions on their wiring harness part 61122410220 (I recommend their part), and code with Bimmercode, no wire tap is needed to get the inner blinkers working if you code it per the below.

Attached are my pics installed. (Rear fog lights work too. Too much light for the picture - see other places on bimmerpost to get those operating).

Here is the coding that works so you can plug the new trunk lid harness wires into the car wiring:

REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_L_CCM = ccm_blinker_l
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_L_IS_LED = aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = dimmed
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_R_CCM = ccm_blinker_r
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_R_IS_LED = aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BFD_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = dimmed
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_L_IS_LED = aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = nicht_aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_R_IS_LED = aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > BL_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ = nicht_aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > FRA_H_L_IS_LED = aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > FRA_H_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG = nicht_aktiv
REM > 3061 LceOutputChannels > FRA_H_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG = aktiv

61122410220 harness instructions

BMW 61122410220 Instructions in English. Tells you how to rewire so you don't need to tap other wires (you still need to code in Bimmercode - see my post above!).

Hy. I want to retrofit rear tail lights to my BMW 3 GT F34. Should i use the same steps as F30 ?
And i have one more question, is it possible to retrofit my headlights (from halogen, to full led), and use for coding Binmercode? Thank you in advance

I think this is different from the F30
yes you can use bimmercode to suppress the rear light monitoring module REM

When retrofit is completed, does inner tail lights should turn on when the brake pedal is pushed? Please see picture. There seems to be LED lights inside or are they for different purpose?

Here is how I did the wiring.
The only parts you have to remove are the 2 sliding covers (where the lights are), the upper trim of the tailgate.
Also undo the trim where the concertina goes inside the tailgate.(there’s 1 torx screw under the rubber piece, the rest just clicks off). See picture.

Then i took out the inner taillight on the right side.
You can run the wiring of the left taillight tot he right side with a bith routing.

Then I inserted a flexible iron wire from the top of the tailgate tot he bottom of the tailgate where the inner light is.
This is very easy. Now you take the 2 wires and tape them tot he metal wire and pull the wire up and guide the wires easily to the top.
Once this is done, you take out the sealings of the rubber concertina on both sides.
I then sprayed some silicone spray in the concertina and on the wires to guide them easy through the concertina.
Actually this went really easy.
It’s just a matter of opening and closing the uper part of the tailgate and complete tailgate for easy acces of putting in the wires.

Then you release the 2 screw on the D pillar and pull off the rubber seal ( you have to pull strong to take off.
Now you take off the cover fort he battery to access the REM box.
I connected them directly to the connectors with a scotchlock tot he correct wires.
Put everything back together and done 
Thanks

1 of the pins on the adaptor loom I bought from ebay was snapped so when inserted into the rem connector it didn't make a contact.

I bought the OEM loom in the end.

I think this is the route I might take. How much did you pay for the OEM loom?
