ASD Knock sensor fault code reprogramming

Hey there, just bought a '14 f30 328i, and the prepurchase inspection showed that there are some stores fault codes in the ASD module, and it sounds like a software update will fix the issues.

I'm a software dev, and have messed with my e46 in the past. I was hoping someone could point me to some documentation to accomplish what this attached PPI is indicating. Thanks much!

I don't rly care about active sound crap, and if someone can comment on if the knock sensor faults probably mean the previous driver used low octane fuel, then I don't rly care to update anything. Thanks for any input
