M3/M4 Cluster in F30

I tried to search for this answer but can't seem to get one. I'm either getting it does work and the other half says it doesn't work.

Has anyone successfully coded that cluster into a f30?

If you are going to spend the money why not get a 6wb?

There is a huge price difference, and I personally like the look of the cluster.

But it might seem I might have to go all digital instead

I seem to recall that someone did it around 18-24 months ago.

That's what I thought I remembered as well.

It works but not to the full extent. I saw a few threads a while back because I myself wanted to do the swap since the orange backlight is ugly as he** but it won't work with the F30 100%. I'd say about 90% of the way there. All error codes are gone but they had some issues with the gear position not showing and etc. So I guess if you just want the speedo and rev counter to work, then you can go for it but I personally want it to be 100% functional. Hence, I just gave up on it.

I'm the same way, if it's not 100% I rather go with 6wb.

It won't be fully functional. Just did one recently and got it to not show transmission malfunction and rpm lights work. The gear selector area is missing though, if we code that in it triggers a malfunction or the rpm lights stay red. Tried multiple variations and couldn't get it 100% working. Customer had 6WA cluster stock, installed the F8x virginized cluster. I recommend going a different route if you want full functionality.
