The car above 120km/h is terrible. Its like driving an old car. No stability. Very soft.
I think BMW has optimized the suspension to work with runflat. Dont make the same mistake as me. You will regret it.

I have done 2 times balancing and still nothing.

DO EVER PUT MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 in BMW F30 with M-suspension!

I have already started the process to give them back.
You heard it here, folks...

What do these mean?

"The car above 120km/h is terrible."

"No stability."

"2 times balancing and still nothing."

Did you adjust the tire pressure? According to my dealer switch to non run flat PSS (for example) you need to add 2 PSI to the factory recommended for run flat. I did just that with PS4S and the car feel rock solid at high speed.

Interesting advise - I don't have active suspension but will try different pressures from next week (I am switching from Continental RFT to Michelin PS4)

I have 35s on the back, 40 front (OEM 19" stagger), they're Goodyear Eagle-something RFT and are absolute garbage: howling at speed and I feel every gum wrapper and dime I run over. I also bought the tire/rim insurance (the FI guy really saw me coming...) and it covered replacing the right rear when I ran over a shed truck retread and it blew the next day.

Overall the price of the insurance ended up being more than the cost of one tire and the deductible.

Back on topic, I'm in the market for new tires for the first time (car only has 23K on it) and really detest the Goodyears. In the four years I've had the car has any tire company come up with a good RFT?

The new ZR-1 actually uses pilot sport cup 2 RFT's. I drove 3's on most of the OE RFT options and was not satisfied with any but ymmv.

Only problem, they're extremely expensive.

I just put the new PS4 S on mine and it runs amazing. I had the Conti run flats which were beyond horrible. My current car is a 2018 328D with M Sports suspension. The difference in my opinion is night and day. Swapped out my factory tires which became really noisy at 28,300 miles

Can you post a photo of the tires? My tyres were Michelin Pilot Sport 4 not Pilot Sport 4S and were terrible. Michelin agreed to take them back and now I am using Continental SSR which are great.

Mike78....interesting on your review of "Pirelli RFT and switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 non-RFT" I think it just shows how different regions, usage, temperatures can get different opinions of the same tires. The Michelins are considered the gold standard most areas yet now and then some people don't like them.

Wonder why Tire Rack has stated that regardless of RFT or non-RFT, use the pressures on door jamb, I.e., do not revise! Personally, I would not believe anything a dealer says.

RFTs on large rims.
My 2019 F36 came with 225/45 R 18 RFT as OEM

It's not too harsh or noisy but yes it is scary to go over pot holes.

Actually I have the same setup as yours but mine is 330e M Sport. I switched from Pirelli RFT to Michelin PS4 and the ride is so much better. I will not go back to RFT anymore. This non RFT PS4 wins in every aspect. I don't feel nervous when doing more than 200km/h.
