thanks

You are paying extra for the cancellation kit. If you are good with coding, you can code the EDC error out.

i cant decide between the v1, v2 or comfort

coming from stock im pretty sure v1 is more than enough for me... i just want a stiffer ride (without losing comfort) and of course to bridge that disgusting wheel gap.

I had KW Street Comfort coilovers on my prior 2013 335i xDrive sedan. Completely satisfied.

were those the only KW you've owned?

i thought about option 1, it is slightly cheaper, but in terms of ride quality and drop i think kw v1 were more desirable and the price difference wasn't crazy.

kw comfort i have DEF heard good things about, but it is a few hundred dollars more than the kw v1, im trying to figure out if i need whatever added features it comes with.

tein i know is a good brand however almost unheard of for this community to install in their cars... not sure why

I'm trying to find out the exact drop I'll get with Bilstein B8 paired with Eibach springs, if it's just 15-20mm in the front then I'll go with Kw V1, however minimum 1.4" drop in the rear with V1 is a bit concerning. My rear wheel gap is just 1.5- 1.6", however it is 1" extra in the front(~2.5 - 2.6"). xDrive front wheel gap is ridiculous, it's actually fine in the rear. I was about to go with Bilstein B14 as the minimum drop is pretty decent, 30mm all around however I keep getting mixed reviews, some say it's really good, some say it's really bad :|
SC is about $200 extra and I don't think I'll be fiddling with the damper setting, also to adjust it in the rear is not a simple process.

EDIT: As you've already figured out, EDC cancelation kit only applies to folks with adaptive suspension, saves us about $200

Why take the gamble on a spring and shock combo when there is absolutely no doubt you will get the height you want with coilovers? $200 extra for assurance.

At least $450 difference between B8+Eibach and KW V1
Also the minimum lowering of 1.4" is a bit concerning. I would still have 5mm wheel gap as per my calculation Front minimum lowering of V1(1.2") is good, given that there is a huge gap. Did you end up getting SC?

No still stock xdrive height. Your post said SC was 200 more.

Oh, yes. SC is $200 more than V1 which is about $450 more than B8+Eibach springs. I don't think B8+Eibach drop will be good enough.

Still worth it imo. Buy it once and be sure of your satisfaction.

You are right, SC will be the perfect setup. I'm trying to get the ideal setup without spending $1650 on SC, I'll also not be playing a lot with the damper settings. If I don't find anything then I'll probably have to just get the SC.

Take a look at Fortune Auto if you are rwd. Supposedly they do not go as low as the vast majority of options (the min drop is less than 30mm).

They don't have access to anyone with xdrive in VA .

Update: Nvm saw your sig

haha, I got their catalog in the mail today Even Koni doesn't have anything for F32 xDrive, Koni Yellow or SA with Dinan springs would've been an ideal setup too.
