I feel like HPFP is better to get on first as it levels out the HP and TQ curve. very cool

I can understand why you would say so.. I have heard this from multiple people including a good friend who I trust.

That said.. my shop said no, absolutely get aligned immediately and referred me to a very very good local alignment shop who does a ton of race car and high end car work. They also challenge the "settle in" thought, and I am glad I got the alignment done immediately.

So I hear you there, but I dont believe that is accurate.

So regarding the Mosselman thermostat upgrade, the only real benefit is that it's aimed to keep the oil temperatures lower. So if that is the only benefit, why not just swap out the thermostat rather than spend $400 to replace the entire housing?

Something like the FTP lower oil temp thermostat fir $45.

Granted, it's not as pretty lol

thanks man.. not sure on the meth kit yet, as it's still being developed. I thought I would have had it last spring, but hearing maybe soon now. Wish I had more details to share.

If tariff rates ever come back down, I will see if I can work out the group buy again. I love it honestly, even after all the trouble (and extra expense) to get it.

Well as to be expected upgrading power that much, my 6MT is... tired...

I will have a Spec 2+ (rated to 545) clutch and new flywheel installed tonight, plus pulling the CDV while there. Even if I upgrade my turbo, that clutch should hold any increase in power.

I would consider a turbo inlet, Blow off and MILVs if your taking shit out. Half of those can be easily done when the bottom is off.

What issues were you having? I’m having excessive chatter in the flywheel/clutch...

Yeah.. looking at all of those.

I am getting what APPEARS to be clutch slip at high torque. Will know for sure here soon.

So much good news..

Clutch is now broken in with the Spec2+ installed and holy HELL it pulls hard now! Tires spin WAY too easy.

Turbo inlet is here and waiting to be installed
M Performance front and rear calipers coming tomorrow (off a wrecked M4)
Stainless steel brake lines coming in tomorrow
New rotors to replace the new rotors.. lol.. to fit the larger calipers.

Depending on condition of the calipers, changes are I will have them stripped and powdercoated red. *grin*
