Some notes on the two wheel/tire sets that come with the car. Both sets have their own TPMS senders, which are straightaway recognized by the car's computer after each wheel-set swap.

BMW Style 398 wheels with staggered Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Note that a 6/32” tread depth is an approximately half-worn tire.

The car has never been tracked or autocrossed. I specified the ZTR Package just to get the heavier duty mechanicals. For example, the car's computer still says that the next (and first) brake pad change is due at 80,000 miles. The car has been primarily used as my wife's daily driver. It has been as reliable as a box of hammers.

This F31 is sold, long gone. Have been unable to log in under my old username to register that fact.
