Can You Fit Pre-LCI Headlights/Taillights To LCI Car?
Strange scenario - but I have a 2015 f31 328d and my roommate is buying a 2017 f31 328d. He doesn't really care much about cars (I'm his "go-to car guy") and said he would be down to swap his LCI taillights & LED headlights for my pre-LCI bi-xenon adaptive headlights & pre-LCI taillights.
Would this work? Are there any harnesses I need or just do some coding in bimmercode? Can an LCI car even accept my pre-LCI headlights/taillights?

Taillights are the easiest. There is an OEM taillight conversion harness available in EU but not not USA, though many have converted without it. You do need to code for LEDs instead of bulbs.
The headlights can be swapped but different connectors/harness. And obviously needs coding. BTW, you are downgrading giving up your Adaptive Xenons. The F30/F31 LED Headlights are known for inferior light output. |
