Parking lights: Can I turn them off?

Hi guys,

So I did a LED bulb conversion on my 2012 F30 and while I'm very pleased with the new look and increased visibility, I'm quite bugged about the fact that my parking lights stay on while the low beams are on.

Is there a way I can code the car (Bimmercode) so that those little ugly lights stay off?

I'm planning on doing a full LED conversion in the near future but I was wondering if this was possible for now.

If this isn't possible, do you think it would be harmfull to unplug the parking lights without having a bulb in them until I get the LED variant? And if I do this, will I get an error code?

Thanks in advance lads!

They can be coded off. Anything that doesn't show up in the regular menu must be coded in the expert mode. To use expert mode you need to use the E-Sys cheat sheets to find the applicable coding.

bumping the thread in case there is an update via BIMMERCODE.

Do you still need to code off via expert mode?

I also would like to see the orange little lights gone when I turn on my headlights.
