N26 shooting flames - open downpipe

So, I had to take out my exhaust to get my axle replaced, and as I was driving a 1LE driver told me that he could see sparks under my car from it shooting flames. So I had to see it for myself. I still don't know if it will shoot flames when I put the rest of my pipes back on, but this was cool to see.

That's normal !! If you took off your exhaust manifold and ran the engine you would see flames shoot from ea cylinder in firing order. Kinda neat actually. Your cat is a flame arrester of sorts and since you don't have a cat you may get flames out the back of you run the car hard for a while and charge up the exhaust. My buddy had an EVO years ago and we ran the Dragons Tail in TN and he would shoot flames going around the corners

Sadly, with the rest of the pipes on, the flame does not make it all the way to the back. All I have is an AWE resonator, however the pipe splits into 4 pipes which obviously decreasing the flow rate in each pipe.
