I had my battery disconnected after reconnecting it my rear windows go down auto but don't go back , I have to hold the switch for them to go all the way up , I tried every method I came across on Google . Couple of guys I read have same issue on the newer cars is there a new reset trick?

This is the method I use:

1. clean the window of any residual coatings such as glues etc from the windwos. use an approved window cleaner for window tint. (as for me windex cause i dont care if the tint gets affected I want them clean)
2. press and hold the window down button on the window affected.
3. after is completely rolls keep the button held down for 10 seconds.
4. release the button.
5. pull and hold the window button so the window rolls up.
6. after it completely rolls up continue to hold the botton for 10 seocnds.
7. you have jsut reset the window limits and told the vehicle this is what you should expect when you roll up.
8. test the window to see if that corrects the issue.

9. repeat for other affected windows.

Take it to the dealer if it's still under warranty, had this problem with my front windows, had them reset everything, and everything works like it did.

Have this issue too. Windows only move 1 inch increments. Removed the regulator/motor, tested it and it spins, replaced the whole assembly (had one lying around) and still does it. Tried every manual reset/initialization I could find on the forums, nothing

Anyone ever find resolution to this problem? I didn't have any luck with the cleaning/reset method either. I bought Protool intending to re-initialize the window myself, but there is only an option to do that for the front windows.

Sure would love to fix this so the one-touch function work for up and down again, and so I can look cool rolling my windows up/down with my key fob!

Long shot but I recently ended up in this situation. Fronts worked fine but the rears would roll down with one full push but the auto roll up with full pull didn’t work. What I did was fairly simple:
1. Engine running
2. All windows rolled up
3. Pull up the rear window buttons halfway and hold
4. Keep holding. I think it was 20-30 seconds
5. Keep holding! Rear window will then roll all the way down and up by itself two times. Keep holding till it rolls up 2nd time and stops.
6. Auto up down for rear will work as expected
