Would a spark plug change throw error P0131 (o2 sensor?)

Hi folks,

I recently purchased my F30 about a month ago. I took it to the dealership on Friday for a 60k service, where they changed the oil and replaced the spark plugs.

Not too long when I got home the CEL light came on. My OBD reader says its a P0131 (O2 sensor?).

Would this have any correlation or is it a mere coincidence? Is it wise to clear the code and see how it goes?

I've set an appt. with the dealership on Friday but would like to avoid if this is just a fluke. The car seems to run normal.

Thanks

Probably not a fluke. It's most likely a failed sensor. It could be related if the mechanic knocked a connection loose

What model is your F30? If it's a 4cyl it's the top front sensor. Easy to replace. If it's a 4cyl I doubt any work they did made the code come up
