From a google search, here's 11 10 15:
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...58976-7529.pdf

SIB 01 01 16: https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Tech...Engine-Cooling

Many sites show the SIBs (even BMW's!), thought not all are detailed.

Thanks. BMWNA never sends me the 10 years/120k miles extended limited warranty in the mail, and my key data does not show that neither, does it mean my N26 is not included in the ELW?

Also, for this repair, and any cooling system repair, does service do drain or fill, or flush?

My invoice for the F30 coolant thermostat recall only shows 1L of long life coolant was charged to BMWNA, but typical complete drain + fill/flush should be at least 1 gallon to 1.5 gallons ....

When our thermostat was replaced under warranty (summer 2016) there was just the coolant top-off - no drain + fill/flush.

Yeah mine appears to be the same top-off, with 1L of coolant.

The argument in favor for 100k coolant change interval is that, any cooling component repair before hitting 100k also requires drain + fill.

So if thermostat job is a top-off, which job will be a flush, maybe whole radiator, the major hoses, etc, etc?
