Also, for this repair, and any cooling system repair, does service do drain or fill, or flush? My invoice for the F30 coolant thermostat recall only shows 1L of long life coolant was charged to BMWNA, but typical complete drain + fill/flush should be at least 1 gallon to 1.5 gallons .... |

The argument in favor for 100k coolant change interval is that, any cooling component repair before hitting 100k also requires drain + fill. So if thermostat job is a top-off, which job will be a flush, maybe whole radiator, the major hoses, etc, etc? |
