Flawed, 328i vs 335i, black grills vs chrome, white looks very bland in photos vs the blue.
335i vs 335i both in there respective blues with blacked out grills would be much better. Also the F30 has a freshness factor, the F30 doesn't seem like a upgrade or downgrade more like a sidestep to the e90. I liked the e90 has a single piece of aluminum thats better proportioned running all the way to the door, without the dashboard folding over it like they are trying to save material on the F30. I really hated the NAV screen but I understand they did it to improve viewable space, they should have incorporated it more like the new 5 series, which is beautiful. Interior: F30 > E90 LCI
Exterior: F30 < E90 LCI I've seen F30 in person many times & still cant get used to the front of it yet. & can't stand the fact that it's larger. Nay!

F30 looks 100x better inside and out. I've always hated the E90 front end. Can't wait to see the E92 (which I love) next to the next gen coupe.

F30 looks so good!
But honestly, I'm surprised how good the E90 still looks after 8 years since released in 2005. It doesn't look dated at all! maybe the interior, but exterior still looks so fresh. compared to an 2005 ish Japaneses or Korean cars, German cars really last for a long time in terms of design. |

The e90 is super high! The height alone takes away from its aggressiveness big time.. Along with the black grills and it not being a 335 with dual exhaust..
Btw e90 lci msport had a short time period it came with the n54 ftw Some ppl forget that the e90 lci changes were pretty drastic including a new hood design.. E90 lci msport with a n54 and tell me how a thia new body is a update lol

The stance has a significant impact in these xdrive pics. The 19's on the F30 does a good job covering up the higher ride height where as with the E90, it almost looks like there's something wrong with the suspension looking at them side by side. I've seen both in person and the F30 is a better looking vehicle all around imo.

I know looks are subjective but personally I have never liked the E9x looks. I wondered over time if I would warm to them as I did the E60, however I never have. It just doesn't do anything for me, honestly.
I am happy, very happy, with the design direction that the F30 has gone. The F01, then the F10 now the F30...to me, those look like what I expect a BMW to look like. The E65, E60 and E90 models never looked very BMW like to me. I never warmed to the E65 or the E90, but I came to like the E60 in it's own right. |

Nice comparison. Im sorry to say it but the new 3 series interior looks so so cheap. The nav looks horrible... E90 has a way nicer interior IMO.

Very Nice Comparision. I lean toward E90, but F30 front is bad ass.
I have to say you have my "Dream Driveway" wow. Awesome. Great Lot. |

To me it just shows how LITTLE work the put into the redesign... most parts of the cars are almost identical, with only minor tweaks.
The F30 also looks too broad and flat in the front, to my eyes. |
