4 series impulse offers 0% APR

So just as I am asking about used 435i's, my local dealer rings to say it's impulse time on the 4 series - stock cars only, and 0% apr.

Anybody else had anything? He said no factory builds which is a shame but there must be some nice 440i's kicking about the network with big discounts - combine that with 0% and I may well bite now!

I got one of these in April, which got me into a 440 GC.

It had to be a car coming through the system already built etc.
They managed to find me one close enough to my desired spec, and the 0% offer saved around £70/month if I recall.. (0%PCP vs 3.9%). Only a few things were missing that I wanted at the time and these were adaptive LEDs but I'll be honest, I find the std LEDs good enough for the job, and the internal storage option for seat back nets, rear power socket for kids DVD players and the little sun glasses dashboard storage box by your right knee..
Oh and I also had to take whatever colour was available, which in this case was MG, which is still growing on me, a bit like fungus.... Needs a wash too, but for some reason MG just doesn't get me out in crap weather cleaning it like the EBII F30 I had before it did...

Brilliant thanks for this - had one dealer come back with a couple of cars creeping up to 52k with options. M sport plus is a yes, and an auto box, but I really don't need HUD etc.

If I can get something in the mid/higher 40s and then try and get a good 10k off in BMW/Dealer contributions, then I think I am going to take what is available. Doesn't sound impossible as I have seen dealer contributions that match the BMW one... just not sure how bad that GMFV will be in 4 years time!!!

To give you a clue on achievable figures.
Mine listed at £51700 before discounts. Got them down to 4 years PCP, 2.5k in, 15k miles, £481/m, after some serious bartering, which was only £30 more than the 330d was costing.

Blimey! that's very good - could I ask what franchise? I am only looking at 8k mileage per annum as it's a short commute.

I actually had a sales lady from BMW call me yesterday knowing my car was in with them today. Her opening line was "your car is exactly the type of car that is in high demand, would you like to come and talk to us about part exchanging it".

I told her that I've only had it 5 months and although this hasn't stopped me in the past I really can't buy another car. No point in going to have a chat as knowing me I would walk out with a new car!

lol sorry what have I started!

Just had one dealer come to me:

440i coupe

HUD
M Sport Plus
Digital Cockpit
folding mirrors
lumbar support

Pretty much 50k on the nose

Have asked for their best discount, take it from there I guess, and see what the GMFV is for 8k p/a over 4 years.

That's pretty much list price! Unless you are talking about list price? If that's what they're quoting they'll have to do better than that.

Yes sorry meant to say, that's the list price of the stock car and I want to see 10k off that for a starter

Yeah fair enough, less than 40k plus 0% would be pretty good in all fairness.

Yup - I cant expect miracles, but it's year end, they are stock cars, they should be able to get it sub-40k... I assume the GMFV will still be through the floor which is the only concern, doubt there would be positive equity at the 4 year mark

It was Bury St Edmunds, Lancaster. Ask to speak with Darren Nicholas. He's a straight up guy, nice to deal with, minimal BS.
They started negotiations at ~£580/m by the way.

I've dug out my paperwork from April to help you out (not that you can necessarily get these figures matched.

List price for 440GC including all options was £51,700
BMW contribution £5k
Dealer contribution £6.5k
Deposit paid: £2.5k
Total financed at 0% £37,696.94
Monthly payments £481.68
On 15k miles, 4 yrs PCP, GFV was £15,057

was that in a period where BMW were offering deposit contributions? Isn't that only available when offers are live - separate from the dealer contributions?

I really shouldn't have opened this thread when comparing my 420iGC ....

The bmw contribution varies all the time...
I'm off out to climb into my 440 for a blast home now...

That will be optionless. And as we all know, even the indicators on Bmw's cost an extra £8/m...
Every £1k in options costs around £20/m for guidance on a 48 month pcp, give or take.

Min spec will vary person to person but for me the must haves on a 4 series (which are reasonably specced std with elec seats, pro nav etc.) are:
M sport plus
Adaptive suspension

Everything else is a nice to have. Some more nice than others...
