SMD/CFAS 3000 EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE 3012 EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS 3012 EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS If you can't find them in Expert mode, maybe BimmerCode just doesn't expose them, and you'll need to use ESys. EDIT: I just checked, and these aren't visible in Simple mode; it only shows seat heating. Just search for the names in Expert mode and they should all be there. EDIT #2: There is a problem with the current iStep CAFD file, at least on my car. The settings shown above in section 3012 have now been moved to section 3015. BimmerCode shows this correctly, and there should be no issue with setting them in Expert mode. However, in E-Sys + Launcher Premium the fields in section 3015 are trimmed, so no feature names are shown. Fortunately the four fields shown as UNBELEGT are in the same sequence as the original 3012 items. So the assignments are: field #1 = EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS field #2 = EAH_ANFAHRHYSTERESE_SLV_PHYS field #3 = EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS field #4 = unassigned and the desired values can be entered in fields 1 and 3. Hey all, I just got a 2016 340i on which the seat retracts for “easy” exit/entry however I DON’T want it to do that. Judging from this thread it looks like I’m stuck with messing with coding to get rid of this feature? Is there an easy way to undo this somehow?

Thanks but I guess I was just hoping I wouldn’t have to hassle with learning how to code it to undo this. Is there not some simple way to perform a “reset” to undo all the changes the previous owner might have coded? Hold the brake while pressing the horn 4 times in 3rd gear, or something?

SMD/CFAS 3000 [SM_GLOBAL] EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE nicht aktiv => Modus_FA_SLV 3012 [EAH] EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS 00,3C => whatever you want, I used 00,64 3012 [EAH] EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS 00,64 => whatever you want, I used 00,00 Select the 30XX section then pick the item inside that module. |

Thanks mate. Got it to work, then my wife changed the seat position and now it won’t work anymore. Does it have a connection to previous seat position or memory?

1. If you share the car with your wife then you should each have your own personal key that you do not share. Stick labels on them if necessary. This will avoid any major manual adjustments to the seat between drivers. The driver profile set by the key will automatically adjust the seat before you're even inside the car. If you swap drivers, driver 1 should get out and lock the car, then driver 2 can unlock and get in. 2. Check your easy access coding settings to be sure that they have haven't mysteriously disappeared. 3. Get a USB memory stick and put it in the slot under the armrest. 4. Driver 1 should then use the car and adjust seat & mirrors. When you get in the car let the auto adjustment complete before attempting to start and engage the gears. 5. Go into profile selection on the menu and save the driver 1 profile to the memory stick. 6. Driver 2 repeat steps 4 & 5. If you're careful you should find that the two drivers can each access the car, with the easy entry working and the seat moving to their chosen position. If easy entry stops working, go to the profile menu and reload the driver's profile from the saved memory. This should restore easy entry. All a bit of trouble, but when it works it's really nice! |

I've just coded this option on my 2015 f32 and it worked I've done all settings exactly as below. I've encountered 1 issue only and I'm not sure what setting out of the 3 changed it relates to. It seems after getting back into the car and closing the door. The seat moves up to memory 2 setting and not memory 1. (Memory 1 was last used setting before getting out) I've just set memory #2 to be exact as memory #1 to see if it will work around that issue. Haven't been back to the car since doing that so I can't confirm yet. Any suggestions ? |

Hi guys, I cant find below 2 settings in my SM2. Checked both 3012 and 3015 also not found. I know my car support and able to code because I'm using it, previously someone coded for me. Now would like to play around with bimmercode and esys.

The FDL Coding is correct as far as the following as suggested prior
FDL Coding: SM2 -> 3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = Modus_FA_SLV SM2 -> 3012 EAH -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28 SM2-> 3012 EAH -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C However, my 3201 M Sport did not work with just these three and I chnaged the following and worked first time 3000 SM GLOBAL -> GENTLEMAN > nicht_aktiv to -> aktiv |

FWIW, it’s now possible to enable Easy Entry in Bimmercode without going into Expert mode. I suspect it only shows up as a Simple codeable feature if you have memory seats.
Set Easy Entry to ‘aktiv’ and it even shows/handles the two distance values. I’d tried to code Easy Entry previously via Expert mode but ran into the now missing parameter sections… I’d just gotten updated to a recent I-step today, and was redoing all my parameter mods in BimmerCode when it saw it. So I tried it and it works like a charm for me at the default values…. |

I can't get easy entry working. Bimmercode has easy entry section in the simple mode but only option is active which is weird. No not active option... I looked at the expert mode and I don't have modus_fa_slv only modus_fa under 3000 sm_global. Also 3012 is missing in the list too. I'm confused why this isn't possible since I got the electric seats with memory..
